This refreshing iced Einspänner combines bold espresso with a silky whipped cream topping. Smooth, creamy and perfect for a café style coffee moment at home.

Ingredients:
  • 1 double espresso (or 2 espresso shots), cooled
  • 150 ml milk (or your preferred plant based alternative)
  • Ice cubes
  • 50 ml whipping cream
  • 1 tsp sugar (optional)
  • Cocoa powder or cinnamon, for garnish
Equipment:
  • Glass
  • Hand whisk or milk frother
  • Spoon

Preperation

Brew a double espresso and let it cool slightly.

Whisk the whipping cream (and sugar, if using) until it becomes thick but still pourable.

Fill a glass with ice cubes and pour in the milk. Add the cooled espresso and stir gently.

Carefully spoon the whipped cream over the iced coffee and finish with a light dusting of cocoa powder or cinnamon.
